Why do witches wear square toed shoes?
I don’t know, but witches be trippin.
It’s a crisp February morning. The air is cold, but the cat is warm and so is the coffee. It’s a great day to be on the right side of the grass (even if I am allergic to every single blade of it). Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. If you’re alone or chronically single on this holiday, at least you won’t have to fight all the restaurant crowds and heavy traffic. Here’s your link, served up fresh with all kinds of love.
This is a haunted house cautionary tale for middle grade readers. Basically, it’s good old fashioned folk horror for kids. I wrote it to explore grief and how the world feels when you’re going through it. For kids, it is my hope that they come away with softer hearts and a good scare.
And now, what you abandoned all those Take-a-Penny-Leave-a-Penny trays in your local convenience stores so you could keep just enough scrounged up to buy a chilled Saturday for, all my social media posts for the week. Shaken, not stirred.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
