I have written two “horror” stories. One is a sort of ghost story. To me, it’s not really horror. But BLOODY BONES, well, it definitely is good, old fashioned, folk horror. Don’t get me wrong. It’s perfectly acceptable, in my opinion, for any middle grade kid to read. I wrote it that way on purpose. Why? I think I’ll let you know in tomorrow’s newsletter.
