Why don’t body builders enjoy air travel? Security is too much of a hassle because they are always so well armed.
It’s a little difficult for me to write today. The events of this past week are weighing heavy on my heart. Again, my newsletter isn’t the place for politics, and I do not intend to change that today. Instead, I’d like to give a word of encouragement. If you have found yourself doing little things differently, no matter what they are this week, take heart. You may think that they mean nothing. Well, they are seeds, and they will grow. For now, let them be planted where they are and do not stifle them. In the Bible, there is a parable about a mustard seed. Read it.

A few things about this one. It’s my only story that was specifically written to be horror. Even my ghost story was more of a fantasy mystery. This one, though, was written to have an unhappy ending. It was written to give the reader a scare, Anne even a chill and shiver. But most of all, it is an allegory on grief. I suppose it was fortuitous in some way that it came up in my promotion rotation this week. I do want to say to any parent reading this; it is age appropriate. Some of my retailers made me put the book in the young adult category, which is fine if it makes them feel better. But no, it is a good story for middle grade readers in my opinion. There are far more “disturbing” horror books in school libraries that are best sellers and are loved by kids and adults alike. Anyway, here’s a quick video to see if the book is right for your kids to read.
And now, more of what you saved all those box tops to claim a Saturday for - all my social media posts in one place, turned slightly and lightly roasted.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
