Y’all, Gen Z may be a lost generation. Now, I’m not here to put them down like so many others have done. They can make mistakes, just like the rest of us. But this latest development takes the proverbial cake. THEY DON’T LIKE FART JOKES! It just came out, a survey, not flatulence. In some pole somewhere by someone (I wasn’t really paying attention), fart joke popularity is waning with this group of young people. As a teacher who has worked with three generations of students (Lord, I’m old), I never would have expected such a stinky situation. I blame school nutrition programs and online video games, but that’s just me. Looks like Gen Alpha is going to have to pick up the slack. Long live the fart joke!
