This is one of those rare days when I don’t know what to say. Before I give you my regular news bits, I thought I’d share a joke with you. You see, I write joke books simply by jotting down funny thoughts that cross my mind or texting them to myself to review later. If said thoughts are funny to me, and I’m easily entertained, I write them down in my word processing app. Once I’ve collected about 50 pages worth, I edit and format them in a way that I hope is pleasing to others. So where do these funny thoughts come from? Well, they come from the funny people I meet on a day to day basis. I find humor in everything. The more serious a person or situation is, the funnier I find it to be. I just can’t help it. So here’s my joke about Diverticulitis.
Tiberius Icarus Culver was a world renowned diver. Being a humble man, he was content being called “Tic” based on his initials. One day, Tic was diving in a remote region of the sea. He swam through a rare field of zooplankton, which glowed in different frequencies related to the disturbance caused by his swimming motions. As he surfaced that evening he proclaimed that he hoped he did not cause any harm to this rare ecology. Much to his surprise, the zooplankton answered back in one accord saying, “It’s okay, Diverticulitis up!”
I’m glad I got that off my chest. Don’t forget my SKATE OR DIE JACOB JONES ebook is still on sale for 99 cents this month. It’s a Kobo Promo, but should be that price at most major digital retailers. Here’s the link -
On the writing front, we are 17 memes away from a new REDNECK LINGO. I don’t know if I’m going to call it the third or Jr. Jr. I just know that there’s gonna be a “hun-nerd” new gems of rural inspired laughter coming your way in a few months.
Alrighty then, let’s talk about WHITE. First edit is done. Second edit is well under way. I’m formatting as I go along. This may be my best book yet. There will be a google form coming your way by the end of the month if you want a free PDF copy. No strings. I’ll just ask (probably 2 or 3 times) for an honest review. This is how the story gets into more readers’ hands. Tell you what, let’s reveal a little more of that cover.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
