Why was the hiker nervous when she saw the snake skin on the trail?
Because the rest of the snake was still in it.
This little news nugget is kind of cool. Quite honestly, it’s old news that came and went, but now it’s come back again. I think the timing has to do with the recent decision Amazon made about allowing Kindle Unlimited titles to be distributed to libraries, but I could be wrong. Anyway, bookshop.org is officially (from what I understand) expanding its operations to include ebooks. They’ve talked about it before, but apparently it’s now confirmed. This is big news for indie readers because you will soon be able order your next ebook from your favorite bookshop, thus giving them credit for the sale. It’s a great way to support local economies.
As of right now, all my paperbacks are available at bookshop.org, for those of us who are more tactically inclined. Here’s a screenshot shot of a search for my name on the sight. Note the dollar number at the top of the page.
They still have the old book cover for WHiTE, but I don’t mind. I’ll keep a lookout for when the ebooks show up on the site. By the way, I don’t have anything to do with that little political sale they’ve got going on. No organization is perfect, and they all get on bandwagons from time to time. You vote and shop now you want. Here’s the link to the website. 👇👇👇
On the writing front, I am woefully behind with MoonDom Five, but that should be remedied later today. My daughter finally went back to school this week, so the writing schedule will hopefully resume in earnest. There are now 95 redneck memes in the queue, so Redneck Lingo the Fourth is coming nigh. We’ve got eighteen and a half pages of jokes for kids. I’m thinking about using an emu on the book cover. Emus are hilarious to me (as long as I don’t get too close).
Until Next Time, God Bless!
