It’s gonna be colder than shaved polar bear eating leftover Eskimo.
I came up with that line at least a decade ago. Quite honestly, I don’t know why I still remember it. Life’s funny that way. Anyway, tomorrow is my birthday and I get the day off thanks to MLK. It happens every few years like that. Don’t know what I’m going to do to celebrate considering there’s a polar vortex knocking on my front door, but I’m happy I’ve made another trip around the sun.
Anyhoo, I’ve got two links for you, same as yesterday. WHITE is my latest fantasy adventure story for middle grade readers, available pretty much everywhere in all formats. REDNECK LINGO 3 is my latest joke book for all ages (for adults, but family friendly humorous memes). The ebook is currently available for preorder. It goes live on February 1st along with the paperback and hardcover. 👇👇👇
On the writing front, the research phase has begun for my next project with the working title, MOONDOM FIVE. I’ve decidedly gone dystopian for this one. Well, dystopian for another world. It’s hard to explain, but the magic system is pretty cool. It’s based on the four scientific forces - gravity, electromagnetism, weak force, and strong force. The setting is based on the moons of Jupiter, more or less. I know, it’s starting to sound more space opera than dystopian, but I think that keeping things on the MG to YA level will give the story more of flavor for the latter. Besides, the world has enough Star Wars and Dune stories to last for a long, long time.
