And just like that, summer is over. I know, I know, we still have August. In my neck of the woods, however, the kids are going back to school. I’m going back to work tomorrow morning. Believe it or not, I’m excited about it. Parents, you’re about to get your house back!
This was a tough month for my family. We lost my cousin, Leslie, to cancer. I’m going to dedicate my next book to him. If your family is like mine, not as close knit as it once was, I highly recommend getting in touch with them from time to time. Shoot them a text. Send them an old pic. What could it possibly hurt?
Okay, current WIP status - WHITE is still in the first draft phase. As of this morning, twelve chapters have been written. Unfortunately, I’ll have to switch to weekend writing, but things aren’t too far behind. There are about 55 Redneck memes and almost seven pages of jokes for kids too. In short, I’m not where I wanted to be by summer’s end, but I really can’t complain either. Plus, WHITE is going to be a really cool story, and it shouldn’t be rushed. Little by little my friends, little by little.
