Seriously, things are about to change. It may be around 90°F, but there’s just a little extra color in the leaves, False Fall has come and gone, and Indian Summer will be over next week. Plus, the SEC just played and won the first college ball games of the season. Don’t know about you, but I feel better already. And for all you summer nuts out there, you get to have lower power bills as consolation prize. Time to soak up some free AC.
Okay, here’s the news. Kobo’s having a promo this week, and SKATE OR DIE JACOB JONES is on sale for $0.99. Of course, you can get it at that price in most of my stores, including BN and Amazon. On the writing front. Today is the day … or maybe tomorrow … probably. Perhaps I should clarify. As of yesterday, I have finished the first half of the last chapter of WHITE. Should be done with the second half today, BUT there is a short epilogue because I’m old school and whatnot. At any rate, the first draft is pretty much done and on schedule. The first edit will be next weekend. There should be a total of three. I hope to have a street team (more on that later) take a look at it, and have preorders by October. It’s all downhill from here. No brakes, though.
Alrighty then. Closing this newsletter out a little differently. My youngest just had her 11th birthday. Happy birthday MAC! I love you, and I’m proud of you.
