The cool thing about Thomas Edison is that he really shed a new light on some great ideas.
Simon and Schuster strikes again. Just a few weeks after announcing the relaunch of their “pocketbooks,” they have now added digital products to the list. And again, they are focusing on independent authors. It’s good to see that one of the big 5 is paying attention. The details are murky, mostly because I wasn’t paying attention, but the long and short of it is that readers are going to have some new options, which is always good news.
A big THANK YOU to all who took advantage of the big Smashwords sale. I really appreciate your support and hope you (and/or your kiddos) enjoy the stories. I do have a Kobo Promo coming up with my usual submission, Anthology of Seasons, for 99 cents. And of course, all my ebooks are Free to Kobo Plus subscribers. But again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
On the writing front, we are now atop page 41 of the current jokes for kids project. This is right on schedule for an end-of-year release. As of yesterday afternoon, chapter 17 of Squash Light (working title) has survived the editing process. We are just under 19 thousand words and still probably looking at a 20 thousand word total, which is a comfortable read for middle graders.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
