I went skydiving the other day, I was afraid I’d miss the landing zone. My instructor told me I needed to get over it.
Happy Father’s Day! Ok, you want to give your dad the ultimate Father’s Day gift? That’s easy. Call your mom.
Alright, here we go. I’ve done a lot to my author accounts lately. To be fair, it was a long time coming. First thing, the paperback version of my first book, THE CURSE OF MR. M’S CASTLE, is no longer available on Amazon. Ebook and hardcovers are still good to go. If you want to get the paperback version, you should pretty much go anywhere else. I hated to do it, but it was necessary. While Amazon could have been more gracious, the problem was all my fault. Anyway, I’ve no hard feelings about it (now).
Moving on, I’ve raised the prices on most of my paperbacks due to new royalty policies. The company wants books to be above $9.99. I didn’t do that, but I did match the retail price to my other distributors. Basically, there are a lot of $8.99’s on my account now.
Last big change. I’m also raising ebook prices on Gumroad, BUT making the deal a little sweeter. If you see an ebook for $3.99, it will have an audiobook file with it. I’ve done three titles so far. Now, these are AI-narrated, but they’re pretty good. I like playing with the different voices made available. Just click on my Gumroad link in my page subtitle above to check them out. Or, you know, just pay twice as much on Google Play Books. Whatever floats your boat.
PHEW! I told you it was a lot.
ANTHOLOGY OF SEASONS (ebook) is on sale for 99 cents until midnight tonight, EST (I think). Anyway, if the sun is still out, you can probably get the sale price. This is the title I like to put on sale the most because it has my first four stories in one place. In other words it’s a good introduction to my work and it’s a great deal. Here’s the link. 👇👇👇
On the writing front, Chapter 7 of MoonDom Five is complete. The first draft is around 5.5K words. I don’t know if this is going to be my Magnum Opus, but the writing journey is definitely different with this one. My fourth Redneck Lingo book is about 1/3 of the way there. Not too shabby. The next joke book for kids is 28% done too. Slow and steady wins the race.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
