Happy Sunday, even if we did lose an hour of sleep. I’m on my second cup of coffee, so let’s get into the news.
On a near-daily basis, my books are being uploaded to Google Play. As of today, you can find about three quarters of my titles ready to go. You can also purchase AI-narrated audiobook versions for most of them. I’ve kept the price as low as possible ($2.99) for both formats.
Now, AI is controversial for many authors, but not for my wallet. For me, the choice is to make audiobooks available to you or not. I won’t be hiring any vocal talent any time soon, and you’re probably not ever going to hear my voice if I can help it. Plus, there’s nothing that says I can’t hire a reader at a later date. For now, though, the AI voice is pretty good and makes for an enjoyable listen. In other words, it’s not taking anybody’s job, so it’s guilt-free listening.
