Happy Palm Sunday! Let’s talk about Jesus. Don’t worry, this isn’t a sermon. It actually has to do with my writing process. Here are some interesting facts surrounding Palm Sunday. The book of Daniel predicted to the very day when Jesus would enter the gates of a Jerusalem. He was riding on a donkey because that was what kings rode. Infantry rode horses. The donkey is the only animal with a cross on its back. Also, it was a miracle in itself that it had never been ridden and there were people going crazy all around it as it carried the Lord into the city, yet it didn’t freak out. When Jesus reached the temple area, the Pharisees tried to get him to calm the people down, and he told them that if he did so, even the stones would start yelling. Little known fact, those stones were probably grave stones. That’s what was beside the temple at the time.
So what does all that have to do with the writing process? To me, it’s all those rich details that really make a good story. I love the way they all come together to weave something extraordinary. I try to take details and scenarios from real life and add richness as well as depth to my books. Sometimes it even works out too.
Alrighty then, here’s the update. All my titles (that can be shared to it) have been uploaded to Google Play. In addition, I’ve put out nine AI narrated audiobooks on the platform. They are all the same price as their ebook counterparts, except for two, which are actually less expensive because they are quite short. (What can I say? Poetry.)
My latest title, REDNECK LINGO, JR. AN UDDER PITCHER BOOK is currently an Amazon exclusive due to having over one hundred pages of graphics. It is available on Kindle, in paperback format, and even in hardcover, though.
Until next time,
God Bless
