The Christmas Season is upon us. I hope all you have the Merriest Christmas possible. We’re taking care of some housekeeping today. There are a couple of things to talk about, specifically Smashwords and Nook.
If you’re a big reader and you don’t have a Smashwords account, you probably should. They’re a good company. Anyway, they will be having their end of the year sale in a couple of weeks - December 15th - January 1st. All my ebooks will be half price. This will be as inexpensive as they will ever get. Most titles will be $1.49. A few titles will be $1.99. Okay, salesy part over.
Now let’s talk about Nook. The other day, it dawned on me that since I have Barnes & Noble as a distributor, my titles should be available on Nook and/or the Nook App. I dusted off the old app to check. Yup, they’re all there! Back when I was exclusive with Amazon, my ebooks were only available on Kindle. That’s why decided to publish wide. So you can still find them there, but also on Nook, Kobo, Kobo Plus (free there), and Apple Books. To date, only one of my titles is exclusive to Amazon, and that’s only due to the heavy graphics and printing cost.
Well, I certainly feel better.
