A tree fell in the woods when nobody was there.
I don’t know if it made a sound, but I saw it.
Happy first day of summer.
It maybe it’s because it’s the last month of the fiscal year, but there’s not a lot of news this week. The big announcement was about you, though. It was the growth numbers, especially when it comes to audiobooks. I won’t get into the weeds. It wouldn’t do you any good to know the statistics anyway. And some of them are not passing the smell test. If you just keep on reading, we’ll all be good.
There is one important bit of news for you, though. July is right around the corner, so Smashwords’ big sale is gearing up. Thousands of authors will be participating, including Yours Truly. All my ebook titles will be 50% off, and three of them will be free. Time to fill up those Kindles and reading apps!
On the writing front, we’re halfway down page 39 of the current jokes for kids project. That puts us at just under 14 thousand words. Only 10 and a half pages to go. Chapter 11 of Squash Light was drafted this past week, so we’re presently standing at 8,624 words. It’s a slippery slope kind of ordeal right now, and that’s a lot of fun to write. Also, I decided to bundle my two Folk Horror stories together under one title, SOLSTICES. Now you can get them through BookShop.org and save some money too.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
