Happy Cinco De Mayo! Hope you enjoyed Star Wars Day. I don’t want to scare you, but half the year will be gone after this month. If you’re like me, Christmases get closer together every single year.
I’ve currently got about half a dozen titles live on the new outlet, LaterPress. It’s a small company, but very author friendly. Currently, it’s only for ebooks. I like this because they do one thing very well. Quite honestly, I can see this company being extremely useful in the near future. Like I said, they’re bare bones - ebooks only, no graphics in text. Just upload a cover and put your text in the chapter boxes. They are also reader friendly too. When you click on the link, you go straight to the book. In most cases (all cases with me), you can immediately read the first chapter for free. You don’t need an app, but if you decide to purchase the book, you can download it onto your reading apps and devices. Is it perfect? No, but it’s really good and accessible to anyone.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, I’ve decided to use a new format every week. As you know, I promote several titles through the week and put them up on my WEEKEND ROUNDUP every Saturday. As of yesterday, I began posting the LaterPress links to those titles. I will also post them on the WEEKLY NEWSLETTER from now on too, beginning today. This way you get a free preview of the titles without having to navigate through any huge corporate websites. Let me know if there are any problems. I want this to be as frictionless as possible for my subscribers!
