Why do auntie lamas love to take pictures of baby lamas?
Because they’re always the spitting image of their mama lamas.
(You know lamas spit, right? The joke’s much funnier if you know that. Just saying.
While there are plenty of things going on, I’m not all that excited about giving you the news this week. I could talk about AI, but you’ve probably heard enough about that already because it’s everywhere. I could talk about tariffs, but that gets into politics, which is a place I loathe to go. Same icky vibes with the big lawsuit as well. There is one little news nugget that affects you as a reader, though. KDP (Amazon Unlimited) is now allowing their inventory to be distributed in library systems. It’s a pretty big deal when you consider the hundreds of thousands of ebooks that will soon be available to library card holders. I’ve been publishing wide for a while now, so all my titles are slowly trickling through the system. Libraries like to take their time. Hope they can figure out how to drink from the proverbial fire hose.
On the writing front, Chapter Twenty-Three of MoonDom Five is complete. We’re now at 20,444 words. There are 86 redneck memes in the queue. We’re getting close. The latest jokes for kids project is hovering around 17 full pages, maybe 18 by the end of this week. You never know.
Until Next Time, God Bless!
