There’s actually some news in this newsletter! There are two new opportunities coming our way, for authors and readers alike. I’m fairly excited about them.
News Nugget Number One - My favorite distributor is partnering with the book club app, FABLE. Of course, I opted in, so all my books will soon be in the Fable store. This also means that online Book Clubs can be started in the app. Authors can even start their own clubs to build a robust community with their readers.
News Nugget Number Two - Podcasts from Substack can now be synced with Spotify! That’s pretty darned cool. I know that my episodes are produced quite slowly, but you get what you pay for. Seriously, I do plan to finish the FREE AUDIOBOOK in the podcast section. Afterward, I will be reading the first chapter of all my books. This way, you can get see if the title is up your proverbial alley.
On the writing front we have some progress. My current WIP, titled WHITE, is coming along. I decided put the story in a unique setting, the New Mexico town called Truth or Consequences. I mean, where else would you write a coming of age story about a young Banshee? I also accidentally wrote a first chapter of a completely different book that’s been in my head for quite a while. It’s a middle grade dystopian novel. SOUL PUNK is the working title. What can I say? The plans of mice and men …
