The problem with boogers is all that pick me energy.
In the news, there’s even more to the BookShop.org story that I told you about last week. In addition to their partnership with D2D concerning ebooks, their audiobook platform, Libro, is in the mix with none other than Spotify. It’s all hashtag and link related, which is much easier to experience than it is to explain, so I’d rather tell you about the cool part, Spotify’s page match feature. If you’ve got the paperback or ebook (through BookShop) and you want to continue reading with your ears, so to speak, just take a picture of the page you’re on and Spotify will start the audiobook right there for you. I’m a guy who can remember the smart fast forward button on boom boxes (yes, it was a thing, very briefly), so this is pretty darn cool to me.
Okay, I posted my folk horror title, BLOODY BONES, on the paid side of this Substack yesterday afternoon. The audiobook will be uploaded today or tomorrow as well. On the writing front, we are at the bottom of page 26 of my current jokes for kids book. The introduction of my next fantasy adventure for middle grade readers has been drafted. The working title is SQUASH LIGHT. Also, as of this past Friday the 13th, the launch date of MOONDOM FIVE, was exactly 1 month away, which will be on the next Friday the 13th. When the stars align and you’re writing a cosmic sci-fi fantasy book, things like that are not to be ignored. It’s still available for preorder, only 99 cents.
