The new violinist wasn’t sure if he should join the orchestra.
The cellist encouraged him to fiddle a round and find out.
The news is a little different today because it’s all about video. Two audiobook distributors are looking into this in different ways, Audible and Spotify. I learned about this from the Alliance of Independent Authors’ news podcast the other day. Audible is, in all likelihood, going to start including book trailers on their website to get readers interested in new audiobooks. (TikTok may be included in this effort. Details are fuzzy.) Spotify may start having video podcasts, so you can listen or watch and listen to content. I don’t know how the rollout is going to go yet. Will it just be on their websites? Will it be on their apps? The latter will probably happen a little later. However they do it, changes are coming to your audiobook and podcast experience.
Okay, let’s talk turkey. I never really understood that expression. The only time I ever talk about turkey is when I’m hungry. Anyway, my latest book, MOONDOM FIVE is available for preorder. The release date is in March on Friday the 13th. You can order the ebook for 99 cents until then. The paperback, hardcover, and audiobook will be available on that day as well. I will be posting the text and audiobook in the paid section of this Substack when the time comes. In other words, you’ve got opinions people! More info will be forthcoming here and on my social media. Until then, here’s the link and book cover.👇👇👇
On the writing front, my jokes for kids book is cruising right along. We’re on page 24, which just under the halfway point, content wise. MOONDOM FiVE’s second edit went well. Some small changes are being made right now as I am going through the third and final pass. As soon as everything is set in stone, I’m going to start my creepy, humorous Halloween story. Meanwhile, I’m getting ready for MLK Day by judging myself by the content of my character (solid B+) instead of the color of my skin (kind of pale, but okay looking in a good light).
Until Next Time, God Bless!
