Okay, let’s talk about audiobooks. I have three of them available on Amazon, Audible, and over on Apple Books/iTunes. They are narrated by a real live person, even though he’s Canadian, who goes by the name of Jesse Weimer. Look him up if you like the sound of his golden vocal tones.
Anyway, ANTHOLOGY OF SEASONS: FOUR MIDDLE GRADE NOVELS is a collection of my first four Middle Grade Fantasy adventures - THE CURSE OF MR.MS CASTLE, THE OTHER CURSE OF MR. MS CASTLE, ALL GRANDPAS FISH, and SKATE OR DIE JACOB JONES. I am proud to say that three of these stories are award winners. Hope you give them a listen.
THE ECHO CHAMBER is my only Young Adult Fiction book, specifically YA Urban Fantasy. It’s about the newest member of the undead community, Jack Turner. He does not belong to the werewolves, zombies, vampires, or even the ghouls. So when he arrived, why did Hell come with him? (By the way, if this were a movie, it could easily be given a PG to PG-13 rating. It’s for adults, but it’s not too spicy.
Finally we have the nonfiction work, FROM THE PEANUTS SECTION. I have come to regret the subtitle of this book, HOW A PERSONALITY PSYCHOLOGY NERD SEES EDUCATION, because it’s too niche. It is certainly about personality psychology, MBTI specifically, but only has one or two paragraphs per chapter about education. In other words, it’s a book for anybody interested in personally psychology, not just teachers. It’s also a great book for fans of Charles Schulz’ Peanuts franchise.
Oh, and I’m currently recording a FREE AUDIOBOOK on the Podcast Section of this Substack page. The first two installments are currently available. The third failed miserably, but will be recorded soon. The plan is to record THE FISH CREEK FORUM VOLUME 1 in its entirety, then to record the first chapter of all my other books. That way, you know what you’re getting into with little old me.
Thank you to all my subscribers, old and new. In closing, let me just say that this publication is only a newsletter. I want to build a community here, so I promise two things - the reads will be short and agenda free. In other words, I like to keep my political views to myself. I do have them, and I’m fairly active in that area, but you can get that stuff anywhere. I hope the first couple of weeks of 2024 have treated you well.
