Spotify is in the news this week for audiobooks. You may have already seen this feature - recaps. They are using AI to help readers keep their place as they listen to audiobooks on the app. It’s a nice service to have, a “the story so far” reminder. The company is also having a homecoming of sorts. They are expanding their distribution to the Nordic nations, which is where they began originally. They’re coming full circle as it were.
A lot of people will be traveling this week, so an uptick in audiobook downloads is expected, podcasts too. I’ve got a few podcast episodes on this page, which can also be found on Spotify. However, most of my AI generated audiobooks are on Google Play. I have three audiobooks narrated by a real live human on Audible too. Anyway, if you decide to take a listen, there’s no way I’m ever going to stop you.
Google Notebook LM is still putting out new toys. The latest is an infographic generator. I’ve done three so far. Tell you what, I’ll post the book links below, then post the aforementioned mentioned infographics in a gallery per usual modus operandi. I really love one of them. (Sorry for all the links today, but I’m a working man.) We’ve crossed the 21 page mark with the latest jokes for kids book. This will slow down over the holidays unless inspiration strikes. MoonDom Five is at the same place as last week, but that is expected to change. In fact, I’m hoping to finish the entire first draft this week. We shall see.
