It’s a little difficult to focus on writing a good newsletter this week due to the hurricane in my region of the US. My area just got a lot of rain and a little flooding, but many people in my state have sustained infrastructure damages and are without power. This was a rare and powerful storm. Keep the folks in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas in your prayers. Unfortunately, there have been dozens of deaths. And don’t forget about the linemen and emergency workers, who’ve come from all over the nation to help. There are many great organizations available for donations, so help out if you can. I won’t hit you up with links here. Most of you know who and where they are.
Okay, so now it’s time to talk about writing and whatnot. An October sale begins tomorrow. Two of my titles’ prices will be reduced to ninety-nine cents all month long. This is a Kobo Promotion, but I’ve honored the markdowns throughout most of my retailers. ANTHOLOGY OF SEASONS will be on sale everywhere but Amazon. (It’s a whole thing. Don’t ask.) SKATE OR DIE JACOB JONES will also be on sale at the discounted price through most major retailers. The Jacob Jones story happens to be the final part of the Anthology book, so I’d read it first to decide if my work is right for you (and/or your kid). Updates on WHITE - As of yesterday, I have edited the first nine chapters. It’s going a little slower than I would like, but progress is being made. To be honest, I’m a little surprised at how attached I’m becoming to this story. Who’d a thunk it? Here’s the trailer again, because I just can’t help myself.
